Ray and Wanda Comeau are the Creators Inventors and Patent owners of this
new Popcorn Shaker Box.
Just like you and your Customers. We seen a problem for years of Movie goers
complaining about all there Butter and Seasonings being poured only on the top
of the bag or bucket of Popcorn.
We watched and studied Movie Goers getting creative in trying to find ways to
mix there seasonings into there Popcorn.
We seen People going back during the movie to add more seasonings and
missing some of the movie.
In the past when the concessioner added the Butter, the movie goer would ask
the butter be added when the bucket was half full of popcorn ,then added again
when the bucket was full. This still did not mix the seasonings correctly.
We seen Movie goers asking for a cardboard drink tray and dumping some of
there popcorn onto the tray, then still trying to get seasonings into both
containers. And they like the trays due to ease of eating from the tray, it's like
a bowl.
Then the most common, adding seasonings to the top, trying to shake the
seasonings into the popcorn spilling popcorn everywhere and still not succeeding
in mixing the seasonings into the popcorn.
I just heard the largest Movie Theater Chain is doing away with self serve
condiments, butter and seasonings. They are switching over to packets. You
open the packet and add your seasonings. I've heard people don't like this due
to Movie Goers are shaking there popcorn bag / bucket during the movie after
adding more seasonings, this creates an annoying noise. The packets are a
great idea, but still unable to mix the seasonings correctly.

Figure 1 shows adding your seasonings after the popcorn has been added. Also Notice Figure one shows a fill line for the popcorn. This leaves a small void in the box . Figure 2 Shows closing the box. Figure 6 Shows a Movie Goer sitting with the side entry of the box open. This allows an easier access to the popcorn. It's more like eating out of a bowl. I'm using Figure 8 Also shows where one could place advertising on the inside lid This side entry lid also latches so one could take home left over popcorn. |
